EESTI METODISTI KIRIKU TÖÖHARUD

Magazine «Koduteel»

Estonian Methodist Church publishes four times a year a magazine called Koduteel (The Way Home). The purpose of publishing this magazine is to exhort its readers to spiritual growth, provide clear foundation concerning doctrinal issues and encourage readers to respond to the call meant for all of us – to proclaim the Gospel. As an additional bonus, issuing a magazine also helps to fulfil the role of church’s chronicle by storing the past events for historical purposes and keep the readers of the magazine in touch with what is going on in the church.

The first magazine of (Episcopal) Methodist Church in Estonia was published in May 1920. For twenty years, it was published under the name Kristlik Kaitsja (Christian Defender). In 1935-1936, Methodist churches in Saaremaa published their own magazine called Koduteel (The Way Home). When publishing the magazine of EMC started again in May 1990, Koduteel was chosen to be its name.

The magazine is published four times a year. One can subscribe to the magazine via Church center.
